Library opening hours on all working days is from Monday to Friday 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. except Holidays.

Membership Guidelines:
Users who have valid identity cards are a member of the library.
The identity card is not transferable. The borrower is responsible for the books borrowed on his/her identity card.
The library strictly follows the copyright laws and library users are expected to abide by it. No complete book /Journal would be allowed for photocopy.
All subscribed Databases (e-books and e-journals) and membership services of library, only for its members, so library advice to the users that they shouldn’t disclose the user id and password to outsiders.
The rules and regulations are subject to change as per the changes in the library Policy.

Note:
Two books of the same title will not be issued to the member, and
transfer of books to other member is not permissible.
General
Library Rules and Regulations:
Members of the GIMT Library should always carry their Identity Card issued by the College to visit the Library and produce the same whenever asked by the Library Staff.
While entering the library, readers should leave their personal belongings, such as bags, personal Textbooks, Periodicals and issued books, etc. at the property counter. However, they can carry loose papers, notebooks, and laptops only, It is also note that Library is not responsible for the personal belongings kept on property counter, hence Users are advised that not to keep valuables like Mobile phone, laptop and wallet etc at the property counter.
Every member must sign-in the Register kept at the entrance counter during Check-In and Check-Out time in the library.
Library staff reserves the right to inspect books and copies of visitors when enter or leave the Library.
Members are expected to maintain silence, Group study /discussions are not allowed in the library, and should not disturb other users in any way.
Using Mobile phones and audio instruments with or without speaker or headphone is strictly prohibited in the library premises to maintain dignified silence.
Refreshment of any kind shall not be taken anywhere on the library premises.
Please leave the books on tables after reading, no need to put the books back on the shelves, Please remember that a document misplaced is a document lost.
A book, Periodicals, etc. stealing, hiding and damaging is a punishable offense.
Library reserves the right to stop extending their facility to a user found misusing or misbehaving activity in library, apart from initiating action as per the College rules.
